2025 Broomfield Football Club - Fall 2025

The Broomfield Football Club is a competitive youth football chapter of the Jefferson County Youth Football Association.  We field teams in tackle football for 2nd to 8th grade level. We play teams from across the Denver metro area, to include Alameda, Arvada, Bear Creek, Brighton, Chatfield, Commerce City, Dakota Ridge, Erie, Golden, Green Mountain, Mountain, Longs Peak and Northern. Home games are played at the Broomfield Commons, while away games are at the various Denver Metro area communities.

Our goal is to improve the skill level and confidence of each player so that they are able to enjoy the game of football and prepare them to play football at the next level.  We support this goal by providing two levels of competitive play within the JYFA football League.  Player experience begins with developmental play at two levels, and we move up the competitive scale through where we have our most skilled and competitive teams playing, thus we have the right situation, right team, and learning environment to allow your child to grow and enjoy their competitive football experience.

Frequently Asked Questions

I Registered, Now What?

Welcome to BFC! Next steps will be ordering uniform and purchasing your equipment. If you are new to BFC, your player will be rostered during the Jefferson County Youth Football Association Draft, which will be July 23, 2024. You will hear from your coach and be assigned a jersey number then. Don't worry, we will get your player on a team, so please order your helmet and uniform!

What Equipment Will I Need to Purchase?

You may purchase these anywhere:

* Helmet- Matte Navy
* Shoulder Pads
* Mouth Guard
* Cleats
* Practice pants and  jersey

*Uniforms-purchased through BFC

(Please refer to the helmet and uniform tab for specifics)

How Do I Order My Uniform

Families will purchase uniforms when they join, and only need to replace them as they outgrow their uniform. Once your player is drafted, you will hear from your coach to confirm available jersey numbers. Then use the Uniform tab to find your coach's store link to purchase your uniform. You will purchase
* Navy Jersey (Home)
* White Jersey (Away)
* White and Navy Game Pants
* Navy and White Socks
Uniforms arrive the first week of games and will be delivered to your team manager for distribution.

What Paperwork Do I Need?

Once you have registered please review the Required Paperwork tab to prepare paperwork for your team manger. These forms will need to be in by the first practice. The most important thing after registering is to make sure you get an appointment for a physical with your physician.

Where and When are Practices and Games?
Practices are held in the Broomfield area, 3 days a week for teams 5th grade and younger, and 4 days a week for 6, 7, and 8th grade. Practice schedule is based on field availability and the coaches discretion. All practices start the week of July 31.

The games are on Saturdays and sometimes Friday nights (Sundays are reserved as a make up day). Home games are at the Broomfield Commons. Away games are played at the various other locations in the JYFA league we are a part of. Please visit their website to see specific potential game sites. Games are held on Labor Day weekend. 3rd-5th grade games begin the week of August 18 and 6th-8th games begin the week of August 25.
